According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT), housing sales across Türkiye accelerated in June 2026, increasing by 15.8% compared to the same month last year and reaching 129,979 transactions. First-hand homesaccounted for 43,406 sales (33.4%), while resale properties represented 86,573 sales (66.6%). The remarkable 72.1% increase in mortgage-backed sales was one of the strongest indicators of renewed market momentum.
Foreign Investors Continue to Drive Demand
Home sales to foreign buyers increased by 20.1% in June, reaching 2,015 transactions. The largest groups of international buyers were citizens of the Russian Federation (381), Ukraine (170), and Iran (170), reaffirming Türkiye’s continued appeal as a global real estate investment destination.
Antalya Maintains Its Regional Leadership
With 6,818 residential property sales in June, Antalya maintained its position as Türkiye’s fourth-best-performing housing market. The highest transaction volumes were recorded in the districts of Kepez (1,918), Muratpaşa (833), Döşemealtı (352), and Konyaaltı (317).
Compared with neighboring provinces, Isparta (607 sales) and Burdur (290 sales), Antalya generated nearly eight timesthe combined housing sales of both cities, once again demonstrating its economic strength and unrivaled attractiveness as the region’s leading real estate market.
